01. Do you have any COVID-19 safety precautions?
Yes! Providers wear masks, disinfect surfaces, and social distance when appropriate. Treatments are 1 on 1 in a private setting which limits contact with others.
02. Where are you located?
Our location is inside SWEAT DC at 3329 Georgia Ave NW Washington, DC. There is street parking available right outside the gym and on surrounding streets. Some street parking is "pay to park" and other parking is free 2 hour parking.
03. Are telehealth services available?
We do offer telehealth services which can be convenient for clients who are on vacation or out of town. Telehealth services are by request. Send us a message if you would like to schedule a virtual appointment!
04. What should I wear to each visit?
Please wear loose fitting clothing that you can move and sweat in as well as sneakers. If you are attending for dry needling, clothing may need to be removed or adjusted for needle insertion.
05. How long is an appointment?
Your initial visit is 60 minutes long. Follow up sessions both fitness and physical therapy are 50minutes. Dry needling specific treatments are 30 minutes.
06. How can I contact my provider?
You will have the email and cell number of your provider and are encouraged to reach out in between sessions. Please ask questions or clarify any concerns with your provider at any time. They will specify their availability in responding to messages so there is no confusion or uncertainty!
07. Do I need a physician's referral for physical therapy?
You do NOT need either to begin care and treatment. Any health information that is pertinent will be obtained during your first session.
08. Do you take insurance?
Movement Evolution is a cash based company that does not work with insurance companies. This is to provide the best care available without limitations on time or restrictions on treatments. We provide a superbill for all clients to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.
